About Us

Gecko Bike Hire is a business we established in Perth to service the tourism market. We have based a number of high quality, ‘comfort style’ bicycles into locations in and around Perth in order to bring the availability of bicycle hire as close as possible to you as we can.

Inspired by our own extensive travels throughout Europe where cycling and Bicycle Tours are popular and actively encouraged, Gecko Bike Hire aims to promote cycle tourism not only for a sustainable economic reason but also for an environment and health-friendly means of mobility for tourists.

We have detailed a number of rides available in Perth for your convenience – from short flat outings around the Swan River to the more challenging, adventurous rides throughout Kings Park or Fremantle. Each route also includes attractions to see and visit along the way.

Whether it is the Swan Valley Wine Region or the Sunset Coast, our itineraries are set up to be self-guided tours, so you set the pace and decide where and when you stop. We provide detailed route notes and maps in addition to information on what to bring, safety tips, legal responsibilities and public transport regulations.
